It’s that time of year again. We here at MWR and TPBN have had a tradition for the last 2 years now of giving back at Christmas time. We run a donation drive called Fill Odd’s Sack where we ask you the readers and listeners to take a moment and be charitable by donating $10 or $20 worth of toys from places like Dollar General or Family Dollar and drop them in our donation boxes throughout town or in the mail to our P.O. Box. We work with the GoodFellows organization and if you like to donate money rather than toys, you can do so via their website. Just leave a message with it telling them it’s coming to them via Fill Odd’s Sack.
Last year we filled the 6ft tall sack twice with stuff left over that wouldn’t fit. We were able to give one family a giant faux tree that was so big, they could barely fit it into their car. We were overjoyed and pleasantly surprised by the amount of donations we received and we hope to be able to do just as well if not better this year.
