MWR S7 Ep14: When Marvie Met Mason.

Posted on 13 April 2013 by OddMan

Another fantastic appearance from both Marv Anderson and Yvonne Mason. Yvonne was on to talk about her book Pink Canary and Marv was there to talk about Yvonne. We think somebody was severely smitten with the our best selling author friend. Especially when heard her accent. We also crash my buddy Kash’s … Continue reading

New review of my new album

Posted on 04 July 2012 by leecamp

New review of my brand new album –

“…But what’s more impressive than his resume is the material in his newest album Pepper Spray the Tears Away. It’s comedy with a point. His act is filled with humorous criticisms concerning politics, feminism, commercialism and education. …[He] continues the long standing tradition of stand-up comedy being a premiere form of social criticism and satire. ”

My Top 5 Satire-Related Books

My Top 5 Satire-Related Books

Posted on 29 May 2012 by leecamp

The incredibly well-respected website The Browser just published an interview on five books I think are essential to political satire. Please check it out, and let me know if you like the same books or which other ones you would pick. If I get a chance (and some good recommendations) I will post an updated list with your selections.

Mad World Radio: Halfway Sampled

Mad World Radio: Halfway Sampled

Posted on 24 March 2012 by Odd

We had new guests on the show in this episode. Mc Sampler (A.K.A. Harry Berberian) and Halfway House (A.K.A. William Hamill). They are comedians and aspiring rappers, Sampler has been in the entertainment business in one way or another for the last 20+ years. Halfway House is the more musical of the two, he has just recently started to get into the comedy aspect of things.

I warn you that this episode is very disjointed and we don’t hear too much from Halfway House. We did set a date for Halfway to come back and play for us, since we didn’t have easy access to a wire for his guitar. All in all, this was a fantastic episode and I hope you all enjoy it.

MWR: You Digg?

MWR: You Digg?

Another fantastic show in the books. I got to hang out with local comedian  Digg Johnson and we got a call in from Bill Squire about his upcoming DVD titled Just Say Your Jokes.

Digg is a pretty cool guy, we bantered back and forth about life and stereotypes. Hopefully I didn’t offend the man, but realistically he’s a comedian and I figure it’d take a lot to offend him.

If you’re in the area make sure you swing by The New Way on Monday nights to see him and the other local up and coming funnymen. If you want more Digg we got links for you down below.

New Episode – Get in, Get out & Get On Your Way

Posted on 12 February 2011 by Odd

Last night we had a few tech issues and the show wasn’t able to go out live, but thankfully I was able to get the issue resolved this morning….which explains why the show is late getting posted. My apologies on all fronts.

Bill Squire and Rob Manier joined me for what was a spectacular show. Bill is a good friend of the show and has done it a few times either by pre-recording or by phone. We were honored to have him “live” in the Pseudio, unfortunately we had a hiccup and wasn’t able to get the full live experience. There’s always next time.

We said goodbye to Bill after the first hour as he had a show in A2 (Ann Arbor) to get to at 10pm and hung out the rest of the night with Rob. Witty as usually Rob and I began to traverse obscure nerdom and try to one up each other.

Check out the Harry Baals video below and a few other links.

Check out the Concubine at the bottom of the page (NSFW)

Make sure you stop by both Rob Manier’s Blog and Bill Squire’s website. You can also follow Bill and Rob on Twitter.

One last thing, help support an independent comic. My friends from the Hamtramck Idea Men are doing a fundraiser for their April Issue. Follow the link and give them a hand.
